Evaluating and advising on ReCube’s fundraising avenues

Our Client:

ReCube is a Hong Kong-based startup non-governmental organization that promotes sustainable tableware usage. It offers a reusable tableware rental service for all types of events and engages in long-term partnerships with restaurants, enabling them to borrow reusable tableware over an extended period. By providing sustainable tableware solutions, ReCube is committed to reducing tableware waste, paving the way towards environmental conservation

 

The Challenge:

As a start-up social enterprise, our client would like to secure more sources of fundraising to support its operation and carry out geographical expansion. They would like to have a thorough analysis of funding schemes in the Greater Bay Area and advisory for their current pitch deck. The Juvenate team was tasked to address several key questions:

 

• Which are the requirements of the funds from HYAB and SIE Funds?

• Which GBA city has the most suitable market for ReCube’s expansion?

• Are there any regulations or entry barriers in suggested GBA city?

• How can ReCube improve its pitch deck / proposal?

 

Our Work:

• Researched on and gathered relevant fund requirement

• Presented competitor insights, case studies, entry barrier and market demand for reusable tableware in several GBA cities

• Reviewed ReCube’s pitch deck and advised on area for improvement

• Presented the most promising fundraising options for success

• Recommended one GBA city with highest potential for expansion 

• Identified room for improvement of ReCube’s pitch deck
