Our Client:

Furry Green, a social enterprise owned by Red BulBul Company, transforms food surplus and loss into high-quality animal food. Doing so, their mission is to reduce food waste through innovative upcycling, and promote responsible consumption with eco-friendly products. Their products are made from 100% fresh ingredients and contain 0% preservatives, aligning with their commitment to sustainability and a greener future. 

 

The Challenge:

Our client is looking to launch a new product for expanding their revenue streams. They would like to understand the attractiveness of potential product options with regards to their potential to generate revenue, as well as strategic alignment. The Juvenate team was tasked to address several key questions:

  • How attractive are the markets? Which segments should the client target?

  • Are there comparable competitive offerings in the market? What does this imply for the client’s value proposition?

  • What are some regulations surrounding food and waste management? How do they impact the launch of the client’s products?

  • Are there any potential partners that can streamline the product commercialisation process?

 

Our Work:

  • Analysed insights and implications of current global pet food market outlook, important trends and promising segments

  • Compared product portfolios among existing competitors to understand their value proposition, and propose how our client can position themselves uniquely

  • Assessed the compatibility of potential partners for outreach with regards to strategic alignment to understand potential synergies

  • Proposed high-level strategic direction for go-to-market strategy for launching products

 

The Results:

Our team has successfully supported our client in key decision-making areas with the insights and implications presented:
